As Godot swore revenge against Naruhodo Ryuichi (Phoenix Wright) for failing to protect the sisters Ayasato Chihiro (Mia Fey) and Mayoi (Maya), he is revealed to be a former defense attorney named Kaminogi Soryu (Diego Armando) who worked with Ryuichi’s mentor, Chihiro. Godot was poisoned by Miyanagi Chinami (Dahlia Hawthorne) which placed him in a coma for five years. The poisoning did not take his life, but his eyesight was badly affected. He is only able to see if he wears the red electronic visor he is well-known for.
